Hi, I’m Arnelle!

UX Designer based in occupied Duwamish land/Seattle, WA.
Currently designing @ AppFolio.

All my choices have been led by my desire to understand people: their stories, their lives, and their dreams. Rooted in accessibility, ethics, and justice, I am a curious problem-solver led by empathy and driven by my belief that design affects human behavior.

Outside of work, I synthesize my background in education with my experience in UX by helping women of color and gender-expansive POC gain skills, mentorship, and opportunities in product as the Design Education Development Lead with the Guía Collective. I’m committed to training designers who are mindful of how power, privilege, and oppression shape design.

Other things to know about me:

  • Dog mom of a Siberian Husky named Luna

  • Avid consumer and collector of graphic novels

  • Amateur home cook excited about all things with noodles

  • #BTSARMY ♥
